Meet the people we've helped

"The whole staff has treated me like family - it's been a fabulous experience!"

Liana - our star gymnast
Liana has been Greg's client since she came home to her family from China. Liana was born with fibular hemimelia, which is a birth defect where the fibular bone is missing. This condition left her without a right foot. Liana received her first prosthetic leg from Greg at two years of age, and over the years as she has grown, she has received numerous new legs. Greg is very proactive in making sure that Liana's leg fits perfectly. This enables Liana to live life to the fullest, including her participation in gymnastics. Greg always listens to our ideas and has creative solutions to any issues encountered. Greg is always willing to go the extra mile to be sure he is providing Liana with the latest in prosthetic advancements. We cannot put into words how important Greg is to our family.
-Tom and Ginny Burkhart
Mr. Jenkins, 60 year old, bilateral above the knee amputee
Jim has been working with our office since April 2014, after receiving his first amputation on his left leg due to diabetic complications. Practitioner Manuel Rivera made a great first impression on Jim. “Manny spoke to me in a way I could understand. I really liked him. He was upfront and honest.” In June 2016, Jim also lost his right leg. We have had the pleasure of working with him through his most recent operation and recovery process. Jim is very eager to begin the fitting process and receive his new prosthesis. “This company is the greatest! I would recommend them to anyone who needs help with obtaining a prosthetic.”
Well, it's official! Premier Prosthetics & Orthotics has custom made and hand-crafted Poppy (aka Kara)'s prosthetic limb. Today was her first fitting and trial!! HUGE thank you to Matt Ruengert, Manuel Rivera and the technician for taking the time and resources to help Poppy be successful and save her limb! The care and compassion demonstrated by this group is tremendous. Animal lovers for sure but above all a great group of professionals. We can't wait to show her fans how she continues to improve and use her new limb! Poppy and her family have a little work to do in the near future as practice makes perfect! Today she showed definite capability to using the prostheses soon! We look forward to a strong future for her! Keep watching for more updates on Poppy! – ActNOW! Rescue St. Louis
